What is an introductory trial flight?
A trial flight is the best way to get in the air and experience New Zealand’s first electric plane. Your instructor will provide a full briefing on the ground and explain how the main controls operate the aircraft and the differences between a conventional powered aircraft and our fully electric version. Once you’re in the air, you’ll have a chance to take the controls yourself. If you get hooked, you can book in for further instructional flights.
Where do you fly from?
We fly from Rangiora Airfield - sometimes into Christchurch Airport too.
How long are trial flights?
You’ll be in the air for approximately 40 minutes, but allow for around two hours which includes pre and post briefings on the ground.
